#38, #39, #40 - Pour One Out for our BBQ Homies

Let's pour one out in honor of the passing of several members of Texas Monthly's top 50 BBQ joints.

Running a business isn't easy.  Almost 60 percent of restaurants can close or change owners in the first year.  It doesn't get easier either.  Within the first five years, studies show that 80 percent of restaurants can close.  Sadly, these three great BBQ joints joined the list before I could visit them, including Blue Moon BBQ, which closed one week before a planned visit.

'Cue in peace, my friends.
